AI automation pricing, from £3,500.
Most agencies hide the number until they have you on a call. We would rather you knew the shape of it now, so neither of us wastes a morning finding out we are not a fit.
The short version
- Starter, from £3,500. One workflow or one agent, up to three integrations.
- Premium, from £7,000. Several connected workflows, up to eight integrations, real judgement in the middle.
- Enterprise, from £15,000. Multi-agent across several systems, or a regulated process with audit trails and approval gates.
- Full Handover, from £25,000. Ownership of the system, its code and its libraries transfers to you outright.
- Managed operation, from £250 a month (from £3,000 on Full Handover). Optional on every package. No minimum term on this fee, 30 days notice.
- Payment: 70% on agreement sign-off, 30% at go-live.
Why is there no fixed price list?
Because we do not sell a product with a licence fee. Every system is engineered around one company's processes, data and tools, so the cost follows the shape of the work rather than a menu.
What we can give you before you commit anything is a floor, a range and a method. You get a written diagnosis and a costed architecture before a line of code is written. If the number in that document does not work for you, you walk away having lost half an hour and gained a document you can hand to anyone else.
What do the four packages include?
Starter
One job, done properly. A single workflow or one agent doing one thing end to end.
- Up to 3 integrations
- Written diagnosis and costed architecture
- Human checkpoint on any action with real consequence
- Monitoring and logging
- Handover documentation
- 30 days post-launch support
Managed operation from £250 a month. Optional.
Fits: missed call handling, enquiry triage, one booking flow, one document type generated on request.
Enterprise
Multi-system, or a process with a regulator watching. Everything in Premium, plus:
- Multi-agent architecture, several systems talking to each other
- Integrations unlimited within agreed scope
- Audit trail on every decision the system makes
- Approval gates and evidence of meaningful human involvement
- Self-hosted or in-house infrastructure option
- DPIA support and incident runbook
- Quarterly review
- 90 days post-launch support
Managed operation from £1,200 a month. Optional.
Fits: insurance, healthcare adjacent, professional services, anything where being wrong is expensive.
Full Handover
You own the lot. Everything in Enterprise, plus a full transfer of the system itself:
- Ownership of the system, its source code and its libraries transfers to you
- Full source repository, build pipeline and deployment configuration
- Architecture documentation written for a team that has never seen it
- Engineering walkthrough with your developers
- Run it anywhere, change it, extend it, or take it commercial. It is yours
- FlowNest keeps the right to reuse the same code and libraries in its own work, non-exclusively. We do not resell your system or your data
- 6 months post-handover support
Managed operation from £3,000 a month. Optional.
Fits: businesses that need the asset on their own balance sheet, teams with in-house engineers who will take it forward, or anyone whose procurement requires full IP transfer.
Who owns the system that gets built?
Your data and business information remain yours. Starter, Premium and Enterprise clients receive a permanent licence to use the delivered system within their business, for as long as they want it, with no renewal fee on the licence itself. FlowNest Ltd retains ownership of the underlying platform, reusable code and libraries. Complete source-code and IP transfer is available through Full Handover.
- Starter and Premium systems are hosted and managed on FlowNest infrastructure. Self-hosting, in-house or anywhere else you choose, is available on Enterprise only, and it does not change the price of the licence.
- Your data is yours. Always. It never becomes ours, and it is never used to train anything for anyone else.
- You may not resell or sublicense the system to another business, reuse its code in any other project, or use its underlying libraries to create a separate product.
- Full Handover is the exception. On that package ownership of the system, its source code and its libraries transfers to you outright, and every restriction above falls away. FlowNest keeps a non-exclusive right to reuse the same code and libraries in its own future work, which is what makes the transfer possible at this price rather than at a full buy-out price.
The plain version: you get to use it forever, in your own business. On Starter and Premium we host it and keep it running. On Enterprise you can take the whole thing in-house. You do not get to sell it. That is what keeps the engineering worth doing at these prices rather than at agency day rates. If you do want to own it outright, that is exactly what Full Handover is for.
What sits outside the build price?
Passed through at cost and shown separately before you approve anything. We do not mark them up and we do not bury them.
Model and inference costs
What the AI itself costs to run, measured against your actual expected volume rather than a guess. Capped, with budget alerts, so a runaway loop cannot become a runaway invoice.
Infrastructure
Hosting, storage and compute. Lower if you run it in-house on your own systems, which we support and sometimes recommend.
Third-party licences
Telephony, transcription, document services or any API your system depends on. Held in your name, so they stay with you.
What moves the number up or down?
- How many systems you already run. Two integrations is a different job from nine, and legacy systems without a decent API are the single biggest cost driver we see.
- How clean your data is. If the knowledge lives in people's heads and inconsistent spreadsheets, part of the build is getting it into a state a system can use.
- Whether the process is regulated. Audit trails, approval gates and evidence of meaningful human involvement are real engineering, not a checkbox.
- How much judgement the agent needs. Following rules is cheap. Weighing incomplete information and knowing when to stop and ask a human is not.
- Volume. Mostly affects running cost rather than build cost, but it changes the architecture at the extremes.
How does this compare with the rest of the UK market?
Published figures from UK agencies in 2026 put single-workflow pilots at roughly £3,000 to £5,000, full implementations at about £10,000 to £25,000, and enterprise programmes well beyond £40,000. Ongoing support retainers are commonly quoted between £350 and £5,000 a month, and productised chatbot services sit lower again, at a few hundred pounds a month.
On the other hand, those numbers are not directly comparable. A large share of the lower end is delivered on no-code platforms such as Make or n8n, where you are renting a workflow rather than commissioning a system. That is a legitimate choice and often the right one. It is simply a different product from bespoke engineering with audit trails, permission boundaries and a self-hosting option, which is what these prices buy.
The honest summary: we are not the cheapest way to automate something, and if the process is standard we will tell you to buy software instead.
When are we the wrong call?
If your process is standard enough that off-the-shelf software already does it, buy the software. If your budget is under £3,500, a bespoke system is not the right spend yet, and we will say so on the first call rather than scoping something thin to fit. If you want a chatbot on a website and nothing more, there are cheaper people who will do a good job of it.
The verdict
Start with Starter if you have one clearly painful process and want proof before spending more. Choose Premium if the pain is spread across several systems that do not talk to each other. Choose Enterprise if being wrong carries regulatory or financial consequence, because that is where the audit trail and approval gates stop being nice-to-have.
Choose Full Handover if the system has to be an asset you own rather than one you licence, either because procurement demands it or because your own engineers will take it forward from day one.
If you are unsure which one you are, that is what the first call is for, and it is free.
